Our challenge was to develop a new image for an old apartment building that fits with the modern architecture popping up in the growing neighborhood of Beacon Hill. We aimed to preserve the overall consistency of the residence and modernize the look and feel, in a cost effective way.

Changing the cladding materials was a simple way to transform the building exterior. The team of architects created a redesign of the main building’s exterior walls changing the existing wood siding to hardie cladding with new patterns and gray tones.
In addition the canopy and railings were redesigned with perforated sheet and metal at the main entry.
