Restaurant Branding Design: Naming, logo, interior graphics, signage
We were hired to develop a complete restaurant branding design package for this Asian influenced sushi and seafood buffet. www.haikubuffet.com

Haiku Naming:
After research and brand development we came up with the name Haiku:
– Haiku is a Japanese word that is familiar to westerners.
– Sushi is a kind of poetry, like a haiku, a specific form with few ingredients carefully chosen and arranged.
Haiku Logo:
The logotype uses Asian inspired letterforms and the symbol is a play on Japanese letterforms and calligraphy using seafood and sushi symbols.
Haiku interior graphics:
We continued the Haiku metaphor by creating haikus inspired by sushi and the sea to decorate the walls in the foyer.
